Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

The Heal Festival WiFi guest network (the “Service”) is operated by GLT Solutions and Ethical Advertising in partnership with Heal Festival. The Service provides paid wireless internet access to guests at Heal Festival Shrewsbury, 11–12 September 2026, at the West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury, SY2 6AJ.

1. Service provider & partnership

GLT Solutions and Ethical Advertising (the “Operators”) provide and manage the WiFi infrastructure, payment processing, and activation system. Heal Festival facilitates on-site access and promotion. These terms govern your use of the Service.

2. Using the service

A WiFi pass (“Pass”) grants internet access to a single device for the day(s) purchased. Passes are:

  • Per-device — one Pass activates one device only.
  • Non-transferable once activated — you cannot move an activated Pass to another device.
  • Time-limited — valid only for the purchased day(s) and auto-expiring at 02:00 the following morning.
  • Day-scoped — a Saturday Pass works on Saturday, a Sunday Pass on Sunday, and a Weekend Pass on both days.

3. Service credits

Heal WiFi Festival Connect is provided on a best-effort basis over a shared satellite uplink and cannot guarantee constant speed at every tier. However, if your tier’s connection is degraded to below Basic-tier performance for a continuous period of 2 hours or more on a day you hold a pass, you may request a credit or replacement pass for that day at any on-site Info Point.

Credits are not issued for temporary slowdowns during headline sets or other short-term peak demand, which are expected and described in our FAQ.

4. Purchasing & payment

Passes can be purchased in advance online or on-site by scanning a QR code. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card details are never seen or stored by the Operators.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include applicable UK VAT. Tax calculation and remittance is handled by Stripe’s compliance services.

5. Refunds

You may request a full refund for any Pass that has not yet been activated within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are self-serve — visit your activation page or contact an Info Point on site. A refund reason may be recorded to help us improve the service.

Passes that have already been activated are non-refundable, as the service has been consumed.

6. Upgrades

You can upgrade an existing Pass to a higher tier or longer duration by paying the price difference. The upgraded Pass replaces the original and retains the same activation code. Upgrades are non-refundable once the upgraded Pass has been activated.

7. Acceptable use

By using the Service you agree not to:

  • Use the network for any unlawful activity.
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, or compromise other users’ devices or the network infrastructure.
  • Share, resell, or redistribute access beyond the single device covered by your Pass.
  • Generate excessive traffic that degrades the experience for others.

The Service is provided under Ofcom’s General Conditions of Entitlement. The Operators may suspend or terminate access immediately if these terms are breached.

8. Liability

The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis. As a festival WiFi network, the Operators do not guarantee any specific speed, latency, or uninterrupted availability. Signal strength and performance may vary by location, device, and crowd density.

The Operators’ total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount paid for the Pass in question. The Operators are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
